- How long will my design take?
You will be provided with an estimated timeframe with your quote. Please understand that any timeframe or deadlines given are only estimates and we will try our best to always meet or beat them. Many factors can lead to a project being delayed from personal issues to a client missing a deadline of their own on content delivery. In the event a project has a set deadline that can not be missed please be sure to inform us so we can add extra padding to our estimated timeline.
- Who actually owns the design?
-
In most cases we transfer complete ownership of the website and all content created by Zoodia to you (the owner) at the time of completion. While this isn't true in all cases (such as certain programming jobs, content writing, etc..) this is the most common agreement that we ask for. As with most facets of web design and development work this is all part of the agreement process and will be covered during the initial quoting phase.
- Do you resell your templates?
-
Our premade designs (templates) are never resold. Each design is a completely unique design and all copyright is transferred to the purchaser. You are free to do as you wish with any premade design such as reselling it, customizing it, or simply using it for your own website. The only copyright we request is to display a copy of the design in our portfolio.
- What payment method(s) do you accept?
We currently accept PayPal as well as Visa / Mastercard for those unable to use PayPal.
- What counts as a revision?
This is a hard question to give an exact answer on. In general a revision is a major change to a design or logo. An example of a revision would be changing the icon for a logo, modifying the layout for a page in a way that changes the structure, or changing the color scheme for a site. Changes that would not count towards a revision count would be things like font changes in a logo, changing the text on a logo, moving an element in a few pixels, etc... When in doubt feel free to contact us.
- What if I want to update my site myself?
-
If you are looking to update your website yourself you would be best served going with one of our content management systems. Our normal web design is done in pure CSS and XHTML. If you are unfamiliar with those two languages you will be unable to update the website yourself. You are welcome to contact us in the future for minor content updates free of charge. Major content updates will be billed at an hourly rate of $35.00 / hour and can be purchased in blocks for a discount.
- Do you offer any discounts?
We offer several discounts! If you are wanting to start multiple projects at the same time we will often quote you a discount to handle all of your projects. If you would like to pay the full price for a quote up front we offer at 10% discount. These discounts do not apply to premade designs.
- What is a client deadline?
-
When you receive your quote and estimated timeline it is worth paying attention to the client deadlines. These are the latest period you can get content to us to be able to finish your project by the estimated time. If you do not meet these deadlines you will not receive any financial penalty but your project will most likely be delayed.
- Can you provide references?
We have a long list of references and would be happy to provide you with their contact information on request.
